Day 46 - Wardrobe Edit: Tops & Blouses
I think if I were left to my own devices I would never stop buying white blouses. I love them. They're clean, they go with every kind of trouser, and they flatter every complexion. I did, however, narrow down my white blouse assortment so that every one I own now serves a different purpose:
- A sleeveless silk blouse that can be worn alone or as an underpinning, dressed down with jeans, or dressed up with high waisted trousers and a boot
- A short sleeve tomboy collared button down shirt, perfect with boyfriend jeans and sandals
- A crisp cotton boat neck blouse with a tucked back detail, perfect with black cigarette pants, dressed up with heels or dressed down with flats
- A boxy linen (off-white) woven tee with buttons down the back, my most comfortable hippy girl top, often worn on the weekends or to grab a pint around the corner in the evening
I also found, to my amazement, that I actually own some tops with color in them. Although I think olive and navy are technically still neutrals. If you find me with a red blouse in my possession, you'll know something is seriously wrong.

- Navy silk collared sleeveless button down, also purchased forever ago and still worn and loved
Pretty happy with the edit. Next stop: sweaters.
